Zephyr is the Greek word for the west wind; a warm, gentle wind that brings with it all good things and the hope of a better future.

Zephyra, under the artistic direction of Shahina, is comprised of western dancers, honoring and uniting the ancient Middle Eastern origins of belly dance with the modern day madonna that lives and breathes within all women from all cultures.

Zephyra is the crème de la crème of professional dancers cooperating to create a mesmerizing show for you and your guests. Each dancer is a soloist in her own right, and their performances are professional in every sense of the word.

  The appeal of bellydance transcends the boundaries of age and gender. As you watch the dance you will find yourself mirroring the movements. You cannot escape. Do not try. Just let yourself become a part of the energy of the dance. Too soon the music will end and you will ache to recapture these few moments of bliss.
