Several years ago I attended a superb workshop in Quebec with Hossam and Serena Ramzy. It was one of the most enlightening workshops I have ever attended. It was not about learning steps or choreography, but about understanding and correctly interpreting the Egyptian music and rhythms and how to dance them. I've integrated this information into my dancing and teaching.
