Intermediate/Advanced Veil Work

Mastered the veil basics? This workshop focuses on advanced veil tricks as well as all the tools you need to create your own veil solo, either improvised or choreographed.

How to select appropriate music, traveling with the veil, how to execute extended spins and turns with grace and balance, professional tips for smoothly getting out of veil entanglements, and avoiding them in the first place.

Please bring a SILK veil to class if you have one. Shahina’s unique hand dyed silk veils will also be available for purchase. Prices range from $50–$70, and workshop participants will receive a discount on any veils purchased at the workshop.

Prerequisite
This workshop is for intermediate or advanced dancers. Previous attendance of Shahina's veil basics workshop is a good idea.
