Marathon Costume Clinic Weekend

Ready to get serious about getting your costume wardrobe or creative project under control? You’ve heard of “scrapbooking” weekends? This is the same idea but for costuming.

Here is your chance to totally focus on finishing all your repairs, updating your costumes, or making that dream costume you have been planning. You don’t have to think about cooking: meals are provided. You can bring a sleeping bag or work all night if you like.

Shahina will guide you through rehabbing an old or ill-fitting costume, creating one from scratch, disaster-proofing your costume, resizing a bra or whatever else you need guidance on.

Shahina also has a large collection of fabrics, appliques, beads fringe and bling all available at cost to help you add the artistic touches you need to complete your “work of art” costume.

All skill levels are welcome.
